Christmas Gallery

Christmas celebrations continue to the end of term, but here is a round up of some of the lovely events we have enjoyed so far.

Our Christingle Service on Friday gave the youngest members of the School – aided by Year 6 – a chance to perform to their parents, amid the atmospheric lighting of the Christingles.

We remembered that the orange represents the world, the red tape represents the love and blood of Christ, the sweets reflect the bounty of God’s creation and the lit candle reminds us of Jesus’ light in the world, bringing hope to people living in darkness.

On Monday, Father Christmas came to Wally! He visited all the little elves and entertained children in his Grotto. Afterwards, we all enjoyed the Christmas Fair, with Senior School House Captains manning some of the stalls.

It was the turn of Prep pupils to perform in front of their parents at Tuesday’s Carol Service at St John’s Church. Enjoy some photos of the rehearsal in the gallery above.
