We were delighted to host 48 children and their teachers from four primary schools (including our own Junior School) for a Singing Day on Friday.
Our Senior School Director of Music Mr Clements, singing teachers Mrs Clements and Miss Leather worked with children in smaller groups and all together to learn the songs from Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Year 4 and 5 pupils from Chiddingstone School, Hilden Oaks, St Thomas’ Catholic Primary School, and Walthamstow Hall Junior School performed to their parents in The Ship at the end of the day.
One of the visiting teachers emailed to thank our “amazing” music team, the “excellent” performance and how much the children enjoyed it, remarking “Such a musical school!”.
