The Wally Greenpower team took our electric car to the Goodwood race track recently, to put it through its paces against scores of other student engineering teams.
Our team of Year 12s masterminded everything on the day; changing drivers in the pit and retuning the engineering where necessary. They came away with lots of ideas on how to improve the car’s speed and efficiency ahead of its next outing at the Bedford Autodrome in June. Wally Greenpower is open to students from Years 9 and upwards.
