Cross Country

26 March 2014

Wet and muddy conditions this Spring haven't stopped a fantastic term for cross-country.

Year 8 Kathleen Faes kicked off the new year by winning the U13 race at the Kent County Championships in January. She then clocked up top 10 positions (including 2 second places) at her next five championships and ended the term by winning the U13 race at the British Cross Country Challenge series. Genevieve Allan in Year 9 has also had impressive runs with results including 6th at the Kent School Cross Country and 3rd at the South East Inter Counties. Hot on Kathleen and Genevieve’s heels have been Year 8 Evie Butler and Year 7s Vita Milana and Emilia Donovan who have also raced extremely well this season.
