School Council

Girls' views on whole-school matters, including catering, are sought regularly through the School Council which meets every term.

Chaired by the Head Girl and her Deputies and attended by all Prefects School Council hears and decides on proposals brought to them by girls from across the school. Any student who has an idea or concern first discusses it with her form's nominated Sixth Form Prefect who will help her devise a proposal. All proposals are discussed between the Head Girl and the Headmistress before being added to the School Council meeting agenda for discussion. Once agreed items have been addressed agreed by the council it is their responsibility to ensure that the correct course of action is followed.
