We’ve had a great few days of sport. On Saturday, three School swimming teams headed to the London Aquatic Centre for the ESSA English National Relay Championships.  Qualifying for these National Finals is an achievement in itself. Representing the School were:

Intermediate Girls 4 x 50 Freestyle Relay Maisie, Lilie, Gabriela, Sophie
Junior Girls 4 x 50 Freestyle Relay Emily, Imogen, Isabel, Sophia
Junior Girls 4 x 50 Medley Relay Emily, Imogen, Isabel, Sophia

All of the students gave outstanding performances in the heats, with the Junior Girls 4 x 50 Medley Relay making it through to the final to finish tenth nationally in this event. Huge congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed at this high-level event. Special thanks also to all the parents who came to support Team Wally.

Cross Country

On Friday six students from Year 7 and Year 8 took part in the Junior Knole Run. Our U13A team faced a field of 175 runners on the 1.6 mile course. They showed great team spirit, achieving these placements:

Alexia, Year 7 85th
Eva, Year 7 135th

 

Badminton

Our Key Stage 4 B Team (from Years 10 and 11) competed in the first round of the London and South East Badminton Cup. Playing away against Woodford County High, our B Team won 7-3, earning themselves a place in Round 2.

Lacrosse

On Saturday five teams played away at North London Collegiate. Our U18As won 7-6, our U18Bs won 10-3 and our U15s won 10-2. Well done everyone!
