Never afraid to get their hands muddy, our Junior School horticulturalists have been busy planting radishes, carrots, rocket, potatoes, mustard, herbs and in the raised beds.

The girls love seeing shoots peeking out of the soil and have learnt to distinguish between weeds and seeds.

We were delighted to receive the Royal Horticultural Society School’s Gardening Award Level 2 last week, given for Horticulture Club’s contribution to the School’s gardening plans, imparting new skills and supporting pupil wellbeing. The School also received a £50 voucher to spend in a local garden centre and a low carbon gardening book.
