Alice and Lucy in Year 10 came up with the perfect way to end exam week AND raise money for their forthcoming school trip to Borneo. They gave their peers the opportunity to vent any examination frustrations by throwing wet sponges at their teachers this lunchtime.  The fundraiser was extremely well supported! Big thank yous to the teachers who very gamely took part.

Also currently raising funds is Year 8 swimmer Imogen. Imogen has been selected to represent the English Schools Swimming Team at the 2nd International Schools Federation World School Games, taking place in Rio in August. With her father, Imogen recently undertook a sponsored swim combining the distance of all individual and relay Olympic events for female swimmers, a total of 5550m or 222 lengths which they swam in one go. Imogen’s fundraising is to assist ESSA (English Schools Swimming Association) with the costs of sending a swim team of 20 able bodied athletes and 7 para athletes to the games.
