Old Girl Annie Blundell will be running the London Marathon with her father this October to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK, a charity which supports the 70,00 people across the UK who live with muscle-wasting conditions.

Annie, who is a 2018 Leaver, admitted her news might surprise the PE Department “after my lack of enthusiasm for physical activity when I was at School”, however, it is a cause close to her heart as her younger brother Sid suffers from a severe form of Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy.

She will be running the 26.2 mile distance in London on Sunday 3rd October. If you would like to help her raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK please donate via her JustGiving page.

Best of luck, Annie.
