Life could be nasty, brutish and short for a medieval peasant. But for one made out of gingerbread and decorated lavishly by the Year 7 History Club, it’s even shorter.

This tasty lunchtime session is normally held in December, along with a look at the history of gingerbread houses, but was postponed after Y7 were in isolation. There was lots of discussion about who the students were going to try to recreate. Next week: a hunt for Easter eggs with historical figures on them.
