At Walthamstow Hall we often speak about not pigeon-holing students but rather encouraging them to pursue joint loves of science and arts subjects side-by-side. It’s always very heartening when we see examples of this principle in action, like this highly original Chemistry and Cross-stitch combination which Year 10 Eleanor used to revise her ‘Tests for Gases’.
Head of Science and Chemistry Mrs Wood was enthralled by the work, “I’ve printed it out and can’t stop looking at it – the detail is just fantastic! It must have taken Eleanor ages to design and produce, but she obviously enjoyed it too! I really want to see the ‘real thing’!
