Students in Years 10 and 11, looking ahead to their Sixth Form Studies, and their parents, are invited to join us for our Virtual Sixth Form Information Evening on Thursday 15 October.

The evening will start at 6pm with an introduction from Headmistress Miss Stephanie Ferro. This will be followed by live webinar presentations from: Mrs Becky Brown, Head of Sixth Form, Mr Dan Pollen, Assistant Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Leonora Hayes, Careers Advisor and Mr Steve Ledsham, Director of Studies. The webinar will give a flavour of life in the Walthamstow Hall Sixth Form including the breadth and flexibility of A Level subject choices on offer, the bespoke nature of the Walthamstow Hall Sixth Form timetable and the wealth of co-curricular opportunities including Model United Nations, Young Enterprise, School Leadership roles and the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. During the webinar our Sixth Form Team will also have the chance to answer questions sent in in advance of the evening.

Following the webinar, students and parents will be able to learn more about the subjects which they are interested in by clicking on any number of 25 pre-recorded ‘Talking Heads’ films in which Heads of Department, teachers and students will give an overview of what it is like to study their subject at A Level. The links to the Talking Heads Films will be available via the School website.

Existing Walthamstow Hall students and their parents will automatically be sent the link to this event and an accompanying booklet. (There is no need for existing Walthamstow Hall families to book).

The Virtual Information Evening will be accompanied by a booklet (sent through the post) containing key information including A Level results and university destinations, key admissions dates and testimonials from Sixth Formers and their parents.
