No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.

We are delighted to be working with the wonderful Happinotes, the social enterprise which spreads kindness through sending thoughtfully hand written notes and postcards, especially to those feeling isolated and lonely in these current times. Happinotes are being distributed far and wide by organisations including Age UK and NHS Trusts as well as locally to hospices and care homes.

Students have been asked to contribute their own hand written and decorated notes which can be dropped in the special Happinotes box outside the Hub at the Senior School. Ideas and templates of what to write are available on Firefly. We’d love to send 500 ‘Wallynotes’ to Happinotes over the coming weeks.

Kindness was also the theme of yesterday’s virtual Prayers (assembly) where Miss Ferro launched the new ‘Life in Lockdown’ photography competition being run by the House Captains. The competition includes a section on ‘Acts of Kindness’, full details (and the assembly) can be found on Firefly.
