Congratulations to Alice in Year 12 who won runner-up at the West Kent Young Enterprise Public Speaking competition earlier this month.

Alice chose to talk about the gender pay gap, asking what more governments and businesses should be doing to address the problem.

She was up against five others, in front of three judges from the local business world.

The Mayor of Tunbridge Wells, James Scholes and Deputy Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling, Roger Roud (pictured) also attended the event at Hadlow Rural Community School.
