We have another evening of thrilling music lined up for you in the latest fixture in our ProMusic Concert Series at The Ship.

Recently described as the “crème de la crème of a cappella” in the Edinburgh Fringe Review, the all-female group Papagena will be performing music from medieval times to the current day, on Wednesday 18th September, at 7pm.

Papagena made its BBC debut last year, performing live on both Radio 3 (In Tune) and Radio 4 (Woman’s Hour) and at a sold-out concert at this year’s Three Choirs Festival.

Included in next week’s programme is The Woman’s IF, a witty riposte to Rudyard Kipling’s famous work by author and columnist Caitlin Moran, set to music by composer and Wally music teacher, Jim Clements.

Catch these rising stars while they are still affordable, tickets are available from the Senior School Office (cpress@whall.school, 01732 451334), £10 for adults and £5 for children.
