Courage Day

Following on from the recent ‘Curiosity’, ‘Creativity’ and ‘Collaboration’ Junior School Theme Days girls took on a variety of confidence building activities as part of ‘Courage Day’, yesterday.

All girls took part in a climbing session at Clip ā€˜nā€™ Climb in Tonbridge where they tackled many different walls and took on the terrifying drop slide and stairway to heaven!

Back at school girls participated in some fantastic activities produced by Firefighter Fit Kids which included some high intensity workouts linked to water safety, road safety, the Great Fire of London and fire safety and some challenges in the classroom to test their knowledge.

It was fantastic to see so many girls tackle challenges head on and even challenge the teachers on the climbing wall, quite often winning!

Theme Days take place every half term and are a central strand of the Junior School’s creative curriculum.
