Year 9 – Choosing GCSE Options
In the Spring term of Year 9, pupils choose the options leading them to take at least 10 I/GCSEs.
All pupils study English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, a Modern Foreign Language, Religious Studies and all three Sciences (‘Double’ or separate) at I/GCSE level. They are then free to choose their additional GCSEs from a further 15 subjects on offer (plus three which are offered as ‘Twilight’ subjects, studied at the end of the School day).
