New York 2024 Gallery

There was a jam-packed itinerary on the fantastic School trip to New York in December!  17 students from Year 12 accompanied by three members of staff headed off to the Big Apple just before the end of term. Staying in a hotel off Time Square – for only four nights – the group managed to pack in:

  • a walking tour of Brooklyn Street art
  • the 9/11 memorial
  • a Staten Island ferry trip
  • a performance of Chicago on Broadway
  • views of Manhatten from Summit One Vanderbilt
  • Grand Central Station
  • New York Public Library
  • The Rockefeller Centre
  • MOMA, the Museum of Modern Art
  • The Metropolitan Museum of Art
  • The Guggenheim Museum
  • ice skating
  • dinner in a Havana restaurant with live Cuban music

Youthful energy and excitement kept the students going. They will be sharing photos and experiences with the rest of the Senior School in our next Prayers on Friday.

Many thanks to Head of Sixth Form Mrs Brown for masterminding the trip and to teachers Mrs Saunders and Mrs Norman for accompanying the students.
