Mrs Christophers joins The Sixteen for 110 mile walk

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of The Choral Pilgrimage, Harry & I and a group of singers from The Sixteen will undertake a 110 mile pilgrimage walk following the North Downs Way from Guildford to Canterbury. We are setting off from Guildford Cathedral on Sunday 25 July and then will spend the next nine days walking through the Surrey and Kent countryside, following some of Chaucer’s pilgrim path, arriving at Canterbury Cathedral on Monday 2 August.

Our target is to raise £50,000 which will be divided between Save Canterbury Cathedral Appeal and World Vision.

Please help us to reach or fundraising target by donating to one or both of these fantastic causes. Visit our Just Giving pages to donate quickly and securely online:

Come July when we embark on the walk, you will be able to keep in touch with our progress via Bob Jones’ blog on the Classic FM website.

Thank you so much
As ever
Lonnie Christophers

World Vision is a leading charity in Child Sponsorship. The charity works to make a serious and sustainable impact on poverty and its causes, especially as they affect children. www.worldvision.org.uk

Canterbury Cathedral is a place of inspiration for all those who visit, regardless of their faith. So far £10 million pounds has been raised out of £50 million needed for repairs, restoration, facility modernisation and maintaining the choral tradition that Harry Christophers himself is part of. www.savecanterburycathedral.com
