Many congratulations to all of our GCSE and IGCSE students who have gained more record breaking examination results this year with A* being the most prevalent grade recieved.
93% of IGCSEs and GCSEs were passed at grades A*, A or B. 78% were passed at grade A* and A and an incredible 40% at A*.
A* was the most prevalent grade attained across a wide range of subjects including; Maths IGCSE, History, French, Fine Art, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. In Germand and Latin an incredible 100% of passes were at A* or A grade.
As with our A level results last week, one third of students achieved grade A* and A across all of their subjects.
Congratulations also go to Year 10, who took their Religious Studies GCSE a year early. 96% of the year attained A*, A or B grade for their exam, 61% of these achieving A* or A grades.
Headmistress Mrs Milner said, "What an amazing year this has been. We consistently gain strong results in public examinations but this year has been exceptional. For our most popular GCSE grade to be A* is absolutely fantastic and testimony to the hard work and enthusiasm of our students and teachers of whom we are very, very proud".
