The Head of Walthamstow Hall Junior School is a member of I.A.P.S. (The Independent Association of Preparatory Schools). The Junior School is also a member of G.S.A Girls' Schools Association.
If, at any stage this term, Walthamstow Hall has to close due to extreme weather the closure will be communicated via an emergency posting on this, the school website, and on the BBC Radio Kent website, www.bbc.co.uk/kent/local_radio. There will also be bulletins on BBC Radio Kent (96.7 FM, 104.2 FM, 774 AM, DAB and online)and KMFM. If there is heavy snowfall overnight or in the morning do check these sites or the radio before setting off on your journey to school.

House Music Competition
The House Music competition takes place each year in the Summer Term, with talents showcased in many different instruments. Each House performs three individual pieces and a choir piece.
Head of Junior School Music, Peter Newell said of the 2007 event: "The House music competition was a wonderful occasion, made the more so as the girls in Year 6 put together the programme for their Houses themselves."
The standard of play was very high. Mr Daniell, Director of Music, adjudicated the competition. The winning choir was Norton and the winning solos/ensembles were from Farjeon.
Mr Daniell said: "Once again this has been a most enjoyable afternoon of music. There were some very musical solo and ensemble performances and I always enjoy listening to the House choirs."
