Athletics Champions Year 5 athletes are 'Superstars' champions beating nine local schools... Year 5 girls entered the 'Superstars Athletics' event on Wednesday 9th May and beat nine other local schools to become the 2007 Champions. The competition consisted of a series of skills being performed by a team of six players from a squad of eight. Points were awarded for each team’s performance meaning that each girl had to do her best to get the highest score possible or fastest time in each event. The WHJS squad won many events, including the relay, the tennis ball throw and the ski race, thereby gaining maximum points. Well done everyone for a brilliant team effort. Junior School Home Page
