Investing in the Future

Mulberry Development at Walthamstow Hall

Walthamstow Hall has provided quality education for girls since its foundation in 1838. Although much has changed since then, we have remained true to the vision of our founders: providing every opportunity for girls to flourish in a happy and stimulating environment, ready to take their place in the wider world.

Developing the intellect is an important part of this, but we also value creativity, team-work and the vital skills that are gained through participation in Sports and the Arts. These build the confidence and qualities that make Walthamstow Hall girls special.

The school succeeds because we believe that each girl is an individual with distinctive needs and talents. Our flexible curriculum and the emphasis placed on enrichment activities, reflect this core belief. However, if we are to continue to give as many girls as possible the opportunities they deserve, we must plan for their future needs now.

The projects outlined below in the Mulberry Development reflect our immediate needs and describe our future plans. The school was founded and developed by people of faith with high ideals for the education of girls.

We, too, are committed to making sure that Walthamstow Hall remains at the forefront of girls’ education in the 21st century.
