The Head of Walthamstow Hall Junior School is a member of I.A.P.S. (The Independent Association of Preparatory Schools). The Junior School is also a member of G.S.A Girls' Schools Association.
If, at any stage this term, Walthamstow Hall has to close due to extreme weather the closure will be communicated via an emergency posting on this, the school website, and on the BBC Radio Kent website, www.bbc.co.uk/kent/local_radio. There will also be bulletins on BBC Radio Kent (96.7 FM, 104.2 FM, 774 AM, DAB and online)and KMFM. If there is heavy snowfall overnight or in the morning do check these sites or the radio before setting off on your journey to school.

Performing Arts
Loosely based on the Hollywood hit 'High School Musical', this large scale production involved over 100 girls...
'Junior School Musical' was the Spring Term 2007 production, involving Years 3, 4 and 5 girls.
100 girls were involved, giving them valuable experience of performing in front of parents and friends and working as a team.
Years 3 - 5 Musical
'Pinafore Pirates' was the Junior School production for Years 3, 4 and 5 performed in Spring Term 2006. Based on the Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert & Sullivan, this excellent musical featured the talents of over 100 girls.
Three Arts Festival
Walthamstow Hall has an excellent reputation for performing arts. The 'Three Arts Festival' has been hosted here for the past three years and both Junior and Senior School pupils have had tremendous success. Last summer the Junior School Choir won their category.
Year 6 Play 2006
Every summer Year 6 girls perform their own play. 'Lowry Alone' was performed in The Ship Theatre at the Senior School. Based on the life of L.S. Lowry, the play was written by Mrs Susan Bishop.
