Volcanic Ash
We have been very fortunate that the travel disruption caused by the volcanic ash cloud has not adversely affected the start of the summer term at Walthamstow Hall.
Over 90% of pupils across both the Junior and Senior School are present in school as are all teachers in the Junior School and all but two members of the Senior School teaching staff, so it really is business as usual.
We would like to thank all those staff who have undertaken difficult journeys to ensure that they were here for the start of term and also the parents of those pupils who have been stranded abroad for contacting us so quickly and efficiently. We all hope that you return home safely very soon.
Congratulations to the 31 girls in Year 6 as they celebrate another excellent set of results in this year's senior school entrance examinations. 2010 Senior School Offers
