Uniform

In school and on the way to and from school correct uniform should be worn by all girls. Uniform should be purchased from Horncastles in Sevenoaks either at their store in the High Street or through their online shop www.horncastles.co.uk

 Pupils should be well presented at all times and are encouraged to take a pride in their appearance. Hair should be neat and long hair should be tied back. Girls are permitted to wear plain stud earrings only if they have pierced ears. Other types of jewellery are not allowed.

(All items must be clearly named with woven name tapes).

SCHOOL UNIFORM FOR PRE-PREP, NURSERY, RECEPTION, YEARS 1 and 2

(All items for Nursery – Year 2 unless stated otherwise).

Winter Uniform

• White roll-neck jumper (Nursery only)
• White blouse piped in cherry red (Reception – Year 2)
• Bedford check pinafore dress
• Cherry red pullover OR cardigan
• Navy fleece-lined jacket with hood (compulsory age 3+ to Year 6)
• Cherry red duffel coat (optional for wearing to and from school)
• Cherry red blazer (compulsory from Reception to Year 6) to be worn to and from school and at school events).
• Navy fleece hat with embroidered school badge (optional)
• Navy fleece scarf with school badge (optional)
• Navy tights OR knee high socks
• Navy gloves Reception to Year 6. Navy mittens for Nursery
• Navy or black shoes – Clarks or Start-rite are recommended with laces or bar and low heel
• Plain silver/gold/tortoiseshell clips
• Red hair bands and scrunchies are available to buy at school
• Book bag (may be purchased at school)

Summer Uniform

• Regulation cotton dress
• Plain white ankle socks
• Regulation sun hat (to be kept in school)

Sportswear (Reception to Year 2)

• White short sleeved sports shirt
• Black shorts
• Cherry red track suit top with school logo
• Black track suit bottom
• Black one-piece swimming costume
• Swimming hat in house colours (from school)
• Plain towel for swimming
• Black plimsolls for indoor PE. Trainers for outdoor PE
• School PE bag (from school)

Ballet (Reception to Year 2)

• Leotard
• Cardigan
• Ballet shoes
• Skirt

• White long-sleeved open-necked blouse (optional Years 5 to 6 only)
• Bedford check pleated skirt
• Cherry red pullover OR cardigan
• Navy fleece-lined jacket with hood (compulsory age 3+ - Year 6)
• Cherry red duffle coat (optional)
• Cherry red blazer (compulsory Reception – Year 6) to be worn to and from school, and at school events.
• Navy fleece hat with embroidered school badge (optional)
• Navy fleece scarf with school badge
• Navy tights OR knee high socks
• Navy gloves (Reception to Year 6). (Navy mittens for Nursery).
• Navy or black (not patent) shoes – Clarks or Start-rite are recommended with laces or bar and low heel – no ‘fashion’ shoes please.
• Plain red hair bands, ribbons, hair clips
• Hair bands and scrunchies are available at school
• Back- pack (may be purchased at school)
• House badge (provided by school, replacements must be purchased).
