School Trips
Learning outside of the classroom plays a pivotal role in further enriching the curriculum, be it within our own idyllic grounds or visiting places of interest in the local area and beyond. Class trips to museums, galleries, coastlines and residential venues are regular events in the school calendar.
In Year 5 girls have their first trip abroad going to France for two days and in Year 6 girls go to the Isle of Wight for a five day trip.
Trips are published in advance on the School Calendar and additional details are sent out nearer to the actual dates. Any entry and transport fees are usually charged to parents on the end of term account. For whole day visits a school packed lunch is provided. A healthy ratio of adults to children always provided and transport is usually by coach. Any questions about trips should be addressed to the organising teacher.
