Theatre Studies

Drama plays a major role in the life of Walthamstow Hall. The Drama Department is staffed by teachers who have a breadth of knowledge and experience of the theatre.  The drama staff set incredibly high standards whilst maintaining an informal yet productive relationship with their students. We are very proud of our productions and always strive to achieve highly professional pieces of theatre to present to our audiences in our own Ship Theatre.  Past productions include; Daisy Pulls it Off, Pride and Prejudice, Oklahoma!, Fiddler on the Roof, The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, She Stoops to Conquer, Guys and Dolls, Coram Boy, the RSC Play: Peter Pan or the Boy who Would not Grow Up, and Oliver!  At the end of this year our Upper School will be producing Much Ado About Nothing.
