Student Support

"Plenty of support and care from staff at Walthamstow Hall through the tutor system and our well-developed Careers and Guidance Programme helps you to decide about Higher Education and identify your personal ambitions. Lessons become tutorials and staff will give you the personal attention you need to reach your goals and fufil your potential. Helping girls to develop new skills for responding to the challenges which may lie ahead is one of the highlights of my job."

Libby Ancrum,, Head of Sixth Form.

Our Sixth Form tutorial system ensures that each girl is provided with the right encouragement, advice and guidance she needs at key times in her Sixth Form years. We pride ourselves on knowing our students well and providing the right balance of freedom and support that they need to become independent learners. We want them to leave us with a real sense of achievement and pleasure because their Sixth Form experience has been an exceptional one.
