Year 2 trip to Lullingstone

This term Year 2 girls have enjoyed their visit to Lullingstone Country Park.

They played a couple of Sensory games in the meadow, including looking for different items to describe words such as rough, soft and prickly. They then went foraging to find materials to make wonderful ‘nature strips’ which they assembled in the warmth of Mrs Norton’s classroom! The fun didn’t stop there and next they did some leaf printing, not with paint but with mallets which released the plants natural colour to create the print. The girls had lots of fun and finished by making their own wooden frames for their leaf prints.

All the girls had a wonderful time full of different experiences and our thanks go to Mrs Norton for providing us with a truly interesting and enjoyable morning.
