Wally in Final 8 at IAPS Netball

A strong squad of 10 players took part in the IAPS Netball tournament at Felsted School on Thursday 2nd March. They battled strong winds and cold conditions to win 8 out of 10 of their group matches, thus qualifying for the play offs. They went on to play Colfe’s School for a place in the next round and they did not disappoint, the fought hard for every ball and sailed through. This then saw them into a round robin tournament with 3 other schools. The standard of Netball was extremely high and all matches were closely contested. The girls kept their cool and upped their game, coming away with 4 points, placing them 8th overall. Although they didn’t make it through to the finals, each match could have gone either way. Members of the public and match officials commended the girls on their positive attitude, impeccable manners and determination, a real credit to Wally. We are all so proud of everything they have achieved; 8th out of 38 schools. Well done girls you are all amazing! Go Wally!
