U14s join U13s as Kent Champions

20 January 2016

On January 13th the U13 lacrosse teams played in the U13 Kent Indoor Tournament at Benenden. The team were split into A and B teams and played all the teams at the tournament in a round robin format. Both teams played extremely well and took to this different style of lacrosse very quickly. The B team won 2 games and lost 3 to give them 4th place in the tournament, putting them ahead of the other B teams. The As won all their matches, finishing the tournament with a thrilling last match against Benenden A, which they won 4-2. These were excellent results for both teams and a great start to the second half of the season.

A week later, on January 19th, the U14 lacrosse squad took their turn, playing in the U14 Kent Indoor Tournament, again at Benenden. Like the U13s, the U14s were split into A and B teams. Both teams played very well and got to grips with this style of game very quickly. Despite losing their matches the B team improved with every game and really got into their stride. The A team also raised their game with every match and they won all their games, beating Benenden A 4 -1 in their final match to win the tournament. This was another fantastic win for our lacrosse teams. We look forward to seeing the U15s and U19s take on the indoor challenge next week.

Well done to all our players.
