The Good Schools Guide

The Good Schools Guide have published a glowing review of the Junior School following their visit earlier this year.

The independent review describes Walthamstow Hall Junior School as, 'A caring and nurturing school underpinned by Christian values.'

Other areas highlighted in the review include:

'The junior school has a separate identity but with all the benefits of a 'big sister' up the road. It uses some of the senior school facilities like the Ship Theatre and indoor pool but remains very much a self-contained unit with good facilities of its own.'

'Emphasis on developing independent thinking and study skills and girls encouraged to think and find things out for themselves. Doing your best considered as important as being the best.'

'Well equipped science labs with specialist science teacher.'

'Lots of cheerful artwork.'

'Plenty of Sport. Swimming particularly strong.'

'Lots of outdoor space including the Dell with playhouses and bushes for making dens.'

'Leadership roles taken seriously and each girl is given some responsibility.'
