''Sciences taught separately from the beginning - top flight science teaching in modern labs'...

'Particularly strong history department received Good Schools Guide Award for history teaching in sixth form'

'Plenty of debate, discussion and interaction from early on - work in a team with teachers and lots of hands-on practical stuff.'

'Thriving art department, wonderful art and textiles rooms'

'Lots of plays every year and most girls get involved in drama in some way either on stage, backstage or with the music and lighting.'

'Music can be studied up to A level and is a big part of school life under the inspirational new director of music.'

'Sport popular, many sixth formers continue with team games and there are a number of county netball, lacrosse and hockey players.'

'Girls expect to do well and are not afraid to put themselves forward, they tend to be grounded with a strong sense of purpose and of community and they want to make a difference.'
