Talent Show

There were bubbles, magic tricks, singing, dancing and clapping at the Junior School Talent Show just before Half Term.

Two entrants from each class from Year 3 upwards made it through to the event, which was judged by Senior School Deputy Head Carl Hughes.

He praised the ingenuity, talents and hard work of all the contestants who performed for their peers.

Isobel won the Year 3 prize for singing A Thousand Years, while communicating the song through British Sign Language.

Esme danced her way to winning the Year 4 prize. Amelia, Madeleine, Annabel and Elena won the Year 6 prize for their joint performance of Secret Love by Little Mix, which was played on piano and flute with a dance accompaniment.

The Year 4 winners, Annabel and Sophia were also the overall winners.  Mr Hughes was impressed with their slick hand-clapping routine which they performed while singing Friends.

The show was a great way to end the week before everyone went off for Half Term.  Well done, girls.
