Swimming success

10 November 2017

Walthamstow Hall's Junior, Intermediate and Senior teams have won their first school swimming match against Tonbridge Grammar and Weald of Kent.

There was a great team spirit and atmosphere poolside in a fixture that proved to be highly competitive against very strong opposition.

Overall, the final scores put Wally Hall in first place with 202 points, ToGs in second place with 181.5 and Weald third on 153.5 points.

In the Juniors, Wally came a close second to ToGs by just three and a half points.  In the Intermediate and Senior age groups Wally won by a margin of 12 points, with ToGs in second place in both.  Wally also won six out of the seven relay events.

This was an outstanding performance, so congratulations to all the swimmers.  Thanks also to all of the staff and parents who helped the event run smoothly and who gave great support cheering the swimmers during races.
