Strictly Wally

1 July 2013

The sparkling highlight of the school year, the Strictly Wally dancing competition, was as dazzling as ever on Saturday night as dancers, who have been busy rehearsing all year, battled it out to become 2013 champions, under the scrutiny of the fearsome judging panel of Dr Peat, Miss Oakley, Mrs Phillips and Miss Mehaffey. This year, for the first time, the routines included the Jive and Charleston as well as the Cha cha cha.

Wally's very own Tess and Brucie, Mrs Bower-Morris and Mr Dilks, compered the show with great aplomb and announced this year's winners, Katie Saunders and Natasha Roberts, who reclaimed their 2011 crown with a breath-taking jive.

All proceeds from the evening will be donated to 'Because I am a Girl', the charity campaign which we are supporting in anniversary year.
