It was another great weekend of Wally Hall sports results.

At the Tunbridge Wells Badminton Tournament the U13 Badminton doubles teams scooped Gold and Silver, well done to Rosemary, Imogen, Elsa and Amelia. At the same event, U15s, Rosie and Annabel took Silver in their age group.

The U12, U13 and U15 Lacrosse teams all won their matches against Dunottar.

The U12s dominated their game, fighting hard for every ground ball and making great inceptions. The attackers were not afraid to drive strongly to goal, dodging past their defence and scoring 9 goals in total. The team was especially helped by brilliant saves by Charlotte and Ava in goal.  The final score was 9-1 – well done girls!

During the first few minutes of the U13’s fixture the teams were very evenly matched scoring one goal each. After Wally settled themselves they scored three goals in quick succession to go into half time with a score of 4-1. The second half didn’t go as well as the first, with Dunottar starting to push the pace. With the scores even at 4-4 at two minutes to go, a ricocheted shot was plucked out of the air by Cara who slotted home the winning goal.

The U15’s started their match full of enthusiasm and team spirit. They took the opposition by storm in the first half, scoring ten beautifully constructed goals without conceding even a shot. At half time the team decided to experiment with some of their new plays which were successful on several occasions and lead to a further six goals. The team were focused on attack and were caught off guard by a couple of fast breaks, making the final score 16-2. Well done U15’s and thank you to the U14’s who stepped up.

At the National Finals of the English Schools' Swimming Association Team Championships, at the London Aquatic Centre, Walthamstow Hall competed against the top swim schools in the country including Plymouth College, Kelly College and Millfield School.

The Junior 200m Freestyle team of Amelia, Jasmine, Edith and Lilie swum exceptionally well to finish 15th overall. The Intermediates 200m Medley team of Zoë, Isabella, Bethany and Emma did themselves proud improving on the time set last year in this category and finishing 23rd overall. The Intermediates 200m Freestyle Team of Zoë, Grace, Isabella and Emma were placed 7th after the heats and went one better in the final to finish 6th overall. They improved on the time set last year in this category and placed higher than ever before for Team Wally in this competition.

Well done to everyone who represented the school in fixtures this weekend.
