The Junior School is delighted to be playing a part in the inspiring Hospice in the Weald fundraising campaign which has seen beautiful horse sculptures dotted around Sevenoaks and beyond.

Last term we raised money for the hospice from a cake sale and by wearing green for the day.

We have now dressed our Herd of the Hospice pony in our uniform and given her the name of Mulberry, which has historic connections with the school.  The original school in Walthamstow had a mulberry bush and when the school moved in 1882, a cutting was brought to the new Sevenoaks site and planted, where it still stands today.

Mulberry is seen here with Emma from Hospice in the Weald, and our head girl and two deputy head girls.  She will be on display at the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre in Tunbridge Wells from October 3rd-13th.
