Outstanding A level and Pre-U Results

Many congratulations to 'the Class of 2011' on their outstanding A level and Cambridge Pre-U results.

At A level an incredible 62% of results were A* or A grades with 81% awarded at A* - B grades.

The results at Cambridge Pre-U were even stronger with 83% of results awarded at Distinction and Merit grades equivalent to A level A* - A grades (and above) and 89% of grades awarded at the equivalent to A* - B grades (and above).

44% of students gained 3 or more A* or A grades and over 50% gained over 400 UCAS points.

There was a 100% pass rate for both A level and Cambridge Pre-U.

Headmistress, Mrs Jill Milner, said, “I am thrilled for the girls and staff. These outstanding results are testament to all of their hard work. I am extremely proud of all of our Leavers, they have excelled academically and in so many other areas too. They are an exceptional group of young women who are well placed to be the achievers and leaders of tomorrow.”

Within the overall results were stories of exceptional individual achievement including Amy Brown who achieved an amazing 5 A* grades, the equivalent of 700 UCAS points, in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Art.
