Elinor Moran was a student at the prestigious Chetham's School in Manchester before moving to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Alongside playing Mimi in the Olivier Award-nominated production of La Boheme at the Soho Theatre, Elinor's recent operatic roles have included; Michaela in Carmen (for EPOC at the Royal Albert Hall), Pamina in The Magic Flute, Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, Rusalka/Voran in May Night, Rowan in The Little Sweep, Zerlina in Don Giovanni and many more. Elinor has also been the recipient of the Garsington Young Artist's Award.

Speaking after the announcement, Headmistress Mrs Jill Milner said, "Our students got a real taste for modern opera when Kentish Opera ran a workshop here as part of our Ship Festival. I know that they will relish singing for Elinor."
