Old Girls Hold London Reunion Dinner

18/11/2011

Walthamstow Hall Old Girls' Association hosted a reunion dinner in London last night where old girls ranging from 1950's to 1990's leavers met up to reminisce over supper. Guests were entertained by speeches from Rowan Pelling (newspaper columnist and 1986 Leaver) and Julia Streets (Business woman, comedienne and 1988 Leaver).

The evening was very enjoyable and the committee definitely plan to run it again, watch this website for more news. The annual old girls' summer reunion takes place at school on the second Saturday each June, the 9th June in 2012. All old girls are welcome with a special invitation extended to everyone who left in a year ending in a '2' i.e. 1952, '62, '72, '82, '92 and 2002! There will be tea, the chance to look around the school and an old girls vs. current pupil lacrosse match (not compulsory!)
