Netball success in Devon

14 November 2017

A group of 25 Walthamstow Hall students have enjoyed a weekend of netball at Okehampton in Devon and played so well, it was an all-Wally final.

Five other teams were involved in the round robin competition at Okehampton.  The opposition was tough and the Wally teams battled hard to make it to the final two.

In a fantastic display of netball from both teams, the U18s just edged it over the U15s with the final score 12 goals to 11 to the older team.  The England Netball Captain Ama Agbeze was on hand to present the winners with their medals.

The students were also able to enjoy the other activites on offer at the residential centre, including curling, ten pin bowling, archery, dodgeball and more.  Well done to all, it was a lovely weekend.
