Michael Fallon inspires at Prize-Giving

Michael Fallon, MP for Sevenoaks and member of the government's Treasury Select Committee, delivered an inspiring speech to upper sixth leavers, their parents, teachers and fellow students at Saturday's Prize-Giving ceremony. Whilst saluting leavers' academic achievements he urged them to consider what they had to offer life, to be curious about their world and to make bold decisions to realise their ambitions.
Mr Fallon was speaking after giving prizes to students from the Lower Fifth to Upper Sixth and following speeches from Mr Ian Philip, Chairman of the Governing Body, Mrs Milner and Head Girl Sarah Ruxton whose speech induced peals of laughter from the audience.
We wish all of our leavers a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing them again on results day on 18th August.
