Lower Sixth Chemists Visit Oxford University

Over the half term holiday Chemistry teacher Dr Wilkinson and a group of Lower Sixth Chemistry students went to Oxford for the day, visiting the Biochemistry Department and Wadham College. The students had a tour of the research labs, met with Oxford students and had a talk on Biochemistry.

"We got a real feel for the city and student life by meeting some students and looking around the colleges and main school buildings. Looking at the Biochemistry building was especially interesting as it gave us an insight into the subject and what you as a student learnt and did in that environment."
