Laughter and tears in The Ship

25 March 2013

GCSE Drama students treated audiences in The Ship Theatre to a double-bill of comedy and tragedy at the end of term.

Ray Cooney's rip-roaringly funny British farce 'Run for your Wife', was performed with energy and perfect comic timing from beginning to end and drew endless laughter from the audience.

In stark contrast the passionate performance of Federico Garcia Lorca's 1932 tragic love triangle 'Blood Wedding' held the audience spell bound.
