Kent Primary Swimming Championships

Our Year 6 swimmers, Elspeth, Cleo, Rachel and Charlotte swam in the Kent Primary School Championships on Sunday 28th February at Medway Park, Gillingham.  All the girls produced excellent performances in their individual races and we are pleased to report the results as follows:

Elspeth     50m Butterfly           Achieved 1th place out of 31 competitors

(Kent Primary School Champion in this event)

Cleo          50m Breaststroke      Achieved 11th place out of 27 competitors

Rachel      50m Backstroke         Achieved 10th place out of 34 competitors

Charlotte  50m Freestyle             Achieved 14th place out of 34 competitors

Well done to all of our swimmers on a very successful afternoon against the best primary school swimmers within the county. Also a special thanks to Emma Watson who assisted pool side and everyone who came along to watch and support the girls during the competition.

Elspeth becoming Kent Primary Champion in the 50m butterfly follows her fantastic weekend at the Kent County Swimming Championships at the Olympic Pool earlier this month where she won an amazing haul of several gold, silver and bronze medals.

Congratulations to all of our Junior School swimmers on their recent successes.
