Happy Chinese New Year

05/02/2014

Reception class celebrated Chinese New Year. They enjoyed cooking noodles in the cookery room. The girls timed the noodles for three minutes, linking their mathematics work on time. They then skilfully ate their noodles with chopsticks. The girls also enjoyed playing percussion instruments and took it in turns to perform a dragon dance. Finally, they enjoyed making Chinese lanterns and took fortune cookies home which Alexis brought into school.
