Curling team retain national title

26 March 2013

On 22nd March our Curling team - Angharad Ward, Rebecca Watts, Louisa Partridge and Amy Burnett, competed in the English Schools' Curling Championships. They won all their 1st round matches, beating Mascall's 7 - 0, Maidstone Boys' Grammar 5 - 0 and St Gregory's A 3 - 1. This put them into the Final against St Gregory's B which they won. We were the only all girls school competing and our team played extremely well. Many congratulations to the team on retaining their national title.

Impressive results were also achieved by our gymnasts, swimmers and cross country runners as the end of term approached.
