Christmas Round Up

The Upper Sixth have been instrumental in this year's Senior School Christmas celebrations. Yesterday's delicious Christmas lunch was eaten to the accompaniment of impromptu sixth form carol singing and was followed by a performance to fellow students of the Upper Sixth pantomime, 'Wally Wonka's Chocolate Factory', another brilliant and truly original WH production! Not content with that, the House Captains and Prefects set off after school for Sevenoaks station where they sang carols to commuters to raise money for Rockdale House.

In other charity news, the gifts of food so generously donated by Walthamstow Hall families last week were this morning delivered to local charity 'Loaves N Fishes, based at nearby St John's Church. The food was very gratefully received and will be distributed to the 20 local families in need which the charity supports each week.

Finally, over £900 was very generously given by parents at yesterday evening's beautiful Carol Service at Tonbridge School chapel, this will be divided between three charities; Kusasa, which helps underprivileged children in South Africa, the Teenage Cancer Trust and Help for Heroes.
